The Ada County Critical Incident Task Force (CITF) led by the Meridian Police Department is continuing to investigate the officer-involved shooting on November 21, 2022. The involved officer who discharged his duty weapon is identified as K. Paporello, a 23-year veteran police officer.
Boise Police investigators are looking for this vehicle as part of an ongoing investigation into incidents prior to the officer-involved shooting. The vehicle is a medium gray colored 2001 Honda Odyssey (actual vehicle not pictured) with heavily oxidized metal, peeling paint on the hood and roof, and a trailer hitch partially hanging down in the back. The vehicle usually has an Idaho license plate 1A8D960 but it may be missing or altered. The van may be parked somewhere along the greenbelt.
