Dozens of neighborhood parties will be happening at the same time tomorrow night across Boise as part of National Night Out 2024. This annual event is about getting to know your neighbors and developing stronger community-police partnerships. National Night Out is celebrated across the country on the first Tuesday in August and is designed to help build safer and more caring communities. Organizers who registered their parties with the Boise Police Department could also request visits from police officers, firefighters, paramedics, the Mayor, City Council members, and other city departments.
“This is a great night for so many members of our department to get out and have fun, meaningful conversations with our community. For K9 officers and motorcycle officers to Command Staff, National Night Out is a tradition that we enjoy year after year,” said Captain of the Community Outreach Division Mike Ruffalo.
