On August 30, 2026, just before 6 a.m. Boise Police and Boise Fire responded to a report of a shooting victim at a residence on the 3900 block of W. Clement Road. Upon arrival officers located an adult female gunshot victim on the front porch of the home. There were a large number of occupants inside of the home when officers arrived and the suspect’s identity and location were unknown. Officers secured the area, evacuated the home, cleared each room, and contacted each witness on scene. Boise Fire crews and Ada County Paramedics performed life saving measures on the victim, but she sadly died from her injuries on scene. There were no other reported injuries.
Evidence indicates there was a party happening at the home when an unknown suspect drove by in a sedan style vehicle and fired multiple shots at the residence. At the time of the incident, the home was being used as a short term, vacation rental. Investigators have canvassed the surrounding area for additional witnesses, information, and video. The investigation is ongoing.
Boise Police Violent Crimes Unit detectives are asking anyone who was at the home before or at the time of the shooting but left before officers arrived to contact Ada County Dispatch at 208-377-6790.
