At approximately 1:30 AM on September 7, 2026, Boise Police and Fire, and Ada County Paramedics were called to reports that a person had been stabbed on the 6000 block of N. Duncan Lane in Boise. Upon arrival they found people fleeing a large house party and an adult male stab victim on the front porch. First responders performed life-saving efforts, but unfortunately, the person succumbed to their injuries.
Upon initial investigation police determined that an altercation occurred on the front porch which resulted in the victim being stabbed.
At this time the suspect has not been located. Investigators are canvassing the surrounding area for additional witnesses and information. The investigation is ongoing and the scene is secure.
Ada County Coroner will identify the victim pending notification of next of kin.
Boise Police Violent Crimes Unit detectives are asking anyone who was at the home before or at the time of the incident but left before speaking with officers to contact Ada County Dispatch at 208-377-6790
