Charles F. McDevitt Youth Sports Complex – Master Plan Update

The 30-acre Charles F. McDevitt Youth Sports Complex is a special use park located in West Boise at the intersection of Eagle and McMillan Roads. Currently, approximately 10 acres of park property on site remain undeveloped, and a master plan revision process is planned to determine the future design of the undeveloped portion of the park.
In addition, the City of Boise is anticipating approximately $1.2 million in impact fees to add additional new park amenities in the coming years.

The park is open daily from sunrise to sunset and offers a variety of recreational opportunities for residents and visitors of all ages. From the stocked fishing pond to walking paths, a playground, a skate park and sports fields utilized by little league organizations from across the Treasure Valley, there is room to play and explore throughout the McDevitt park space.
The goal of the park master plan revision process is to finalize the park’s design plan in order to maximize use of the currently undeveloped property on site. Per the site’s original purchase agreement, the park property must be used for outdoor recreation.
Opportunities for neighbors and park users to engage in the park master plan update process, as well as the allocation of impact fee funding, will be provided in the coming months.
