Hewett Playground Update – March 2023
Boise Parks and Recreation is reaching out to provide an update regarding the planned replacement of the playground at Hewett Park, located at 11211 W. McMillan Road.
The playground was initially scheduled for replacement in fall of 2022, but due to supply chain issues, staffing levels, and increased project costs, site work is now expected to begin in the winter of 2023/2024. We understand you are looking forward to a new playground with accessible surfacing and fun features for families to enjoy. We continue to work hard to complete this playground as quickly as we can. Thank you for your continued patience.
We apologize for this delay and appreciate your understanding. Feel free to email us with any concerns or questions.

Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all City of Boise parks, including within 20 feet of the Boise River Greenbelt, except in designated areas within Ann Morrison and Julia Davis Parks and at city-owned golf courses.
