Rhodes Skate Park Restroom Replacement

Project Update – February 2025
The permanent restroom located at Rhodes Skate Park has been closed and removed due to ongoing design and maintenance issues (a portable restroom is currently available on-site). Boise Parks and Recreation is building a new permanent restroom to improve access for all park visitors. The restroom update, modeled after the urban restroom at Cherie Buckner-Webb Park, will provide a safer and cleaner option at the park.
The bid for this project has been awarded to EKC, Inc. Temporary fencing has been installed around a small portion of the skate park as this project moves forward. The majority of the skate park is expected to remain open for use. Thank you for your patience as we improve the user experience at this park site!
Project completion estimates are subject to change due to volatility in the construction industry. Current challenges include material availability, rising costs, supply chain disruptions, staffing shortages and more. Boise Parks and Recreation will update project timelines as needed if delays occur.
