Household hazardous waste collection sites are CLOSED on the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Memorial Day
- July 4th
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas (Please note: a collection site that falls on Christmas Eve will close early at 4:00 p.m.)
Do not leave items at a collection site when a collection vehicle is not present as it creates hazardous conditions. Household Hazardous Collection sites are open one day per month from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. and the service is free. The Meridian Republic Services location is open every Monday. Waste must be dropped off only when a vehicle is present.
