Reduce and Reuse
Buy only what you need to limit excess that will become waste. Consider buying clothes secondhand at a local consignment or thrift shop.
Re-wear cotton clothing multiple times before discarding. Repair damaged clothing if possible. If irreparable, cut into strips and use as napkins, dish towels, or other reusable items.
If the item is still in usable condition, consider donating to a local thrift store, selling on an online marketplace, or gifting the item through your local Buy Nothing group.
