The Open Space and Clean Water Advisory Committee serves in an advisory capacity within the framework of Boise City management plans (including the Interagency Foothills Management Plan, Boise Open Space Reserve and Ridge to Rivers Master Plan, etc.) to achieve the goals provided within the Open Space and Clean Water initiative.
The Committee promotes, supports and builds awareness of Boise's conservation goals, promotes an environment of learning and works with city staff to create an annual report detailing expenditures, projects, and activities that support the city's conservation goals.
