Boise Fire Releases Community Survey

March 3, 2022

The Boise Fire Department is releasing a survey to gather community feedback about the department. The survey is part of an ongoing effort to improve the organization, build a 10-year masterplan, and create a detailed strategic plan.  Boise residents are encouraged to make their voice heard and provide their input.

“The Boise Fire Department takes great pride in providing the best possible service to our community. In order to continue executing our mission, ‘Serve the Community with Professionalism and Pride,’ it is important we stay focused on the needs of our community,” said Boise Fire Chief Mark Niemeyer.

We are offering three separate surveys to help us plan for the healthy future of our department.  There is one survey for the community, one for City of Boise leaders and department partners, and one for our Boise Fire Department employees.  Between the surveys we will be gathering information about the participant’s satisfaction level with the department, knowledge of the services we offer, as well as suggestions on department priorities. The surveys will run through March 25th and are offered in both English and Spanish.

“One-Team/One-Mission is more than just a catchphrase; it’s a culture of excellence. Each of the groups targeted in our survey plays a role in that excellence, and your input is both needed and valued,” said Boise Fire Chief Mark Niemeyer.  “Once we have the survey results, we will present our findings back to the public and address areas where we can continue to improve our organization in a way that is meaningful to the public we serve”

The community survey is available through the links below as well as on our website and social media channels.  Thank you for your input as we continue to make changes to improve our department and our community.
