Boise Youth Climate Action Fund

Supporting Youth-Led Climate Action

The city is happy to announce we have been selected as a participant in the third round of Bloomberg Philanthropies' Youth Climate Action Fund! Boise will receive $50,000 in 2026 to fund youth-led climate action projects.

Timeline:

May-August 2026: Youth and community partners interested in participating should submit an interest form below

August-September 2026: The city will open a call for applications and hold an application writing assistance workshop

October 2026: up to 18 youth-led groups will be awarded $1000-$5000 to complete their projects

April 2027: Projects must be complete
