The City of Boise is one of 100 cities chosen to fund local youth-led climate action projects with a $50,000 grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies, in partnership with United Cities and Local Governments and the Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation at Johns Hopkins University. Thanks to the strong response from local youth and sponsor organizations in this round of funding, the City of Boise Youth Climate Action Fund will be eligible to apply for an additional $100,000 grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies for youth led climate action projects later this year.
