Boise Youth Climate Action Fund 2024 (YCAF)

Powered by Bloomberg Philanthropies in partnership with United Cities and Local Governments and the Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation at Johns Hopkins University

The City of Boise has been selected as one of 101 international cities to award local youth-led organizations with funds to implement climate action projects. We will be accepting applications and through a review committee process, will be choosing up to 50 projects to fund. The budget for each project should be $1000-$5000 and align with our Boise Climate Roadmap priority areas. These priorities are listed below with examples of each, although we are open to all project ideas.

If you do not have a sponsor organization, we can help you find a community partner, and this should be noted on the application. The identified sponsor organization will be required to fill out a sponsor agreement.

Funds will be distributed in August 2024, with all funds being spent and projects completed by December 31st, 2024.

Applications will open June 2024. We look forward to hearing your project ideas!
