Due to a staff shortage, the City Clerk’s Office encourages residents to make an appointment for services such as finger printing and background checks. Walk-in services are available but extended wait times are expected. To make an appointment email or call 208-972-8150.
The Office of the City Clerk serves the city’s administrative needs by maintaining city records, regulating licensing and more. Additionally, the Office of the City Clerk supports the legislative work of the Mayor and City Council.
The City Council meets every Tuesday at 6 p.m., except for the fourth Tuesday of each month, when the meetings begin at noon. Council meetings are held on the third floor of City Hall.
