The City of Boise regulates business drivers to maintain the health, safety and general welfare of the public. As a business driver, you are required to maintain a valid, unexpired business driver license.
New and renewed licenses require a background check which must be conducted in person for fingerprinting at City Hall. Fingerprinting must be completed before your license will be processed.
The City of Boise now allows you to apply for your license online. First time users of this system will be required to set up an account.
Once you have logged in, click "Apply > License" in the top menu. Select "Business Driver Application."

Once you have set up an account, you will need to contact the City Clerk's Office to have your current license linked to your account. Please have your current license number available.
After linking your account, select "My Records" from the home menu. You will find your renewal in the Licenses list.
Note: your application is incomplete until you have completed a background check and fingerprinting, which is conducted in person at City Hall.
