Zoning Map Amendments include Rezones, Planned Unit Developments (PUD), and Specific Plans. They are required to change zoning district boundaries, establish, or eliminate zoning districts, change the zoning designation of a parcel, or to establish or amend a Development Plan for a Planned Unit Development (PUD) zoning district or Specific Plan. PUDs must be at least five acres in area and meet specific eligibility criteria outlined in Section 11-02-05.2 of the zoning code. Specific Plan Districts must be at least 20 acres in area and meet specific eligibility criteria outlined in Section 11-02-08.6.
