Chemicals used in your yard and garden that are accepted at any household hazardous waste collection site or facility and include:
- Pesticides
- Insecticides
- Garden chemicals
- Pool/spa chemicals
Yard waste without chemicals (clippings, weeds, etc) can go in your compost cart.
Reduce and Reuse
Buy only what you need to limit excess that will become waste.
Visit the Material Reuse Program at the Ada County Landfill to find free pesticides, insecticides, herbicides and fertilizers that are in usable condition donated by someone else in the community.
