An Immobilization Service license is needed for any business providing vehicle immobilization services (car booting) within Boise City limits. Agents must also have a business driver license.
Application for this license requires a background check and fingerprinting which must be conducted in person at City Hall. This must be completed or your application will not be processed.
The City of Boise now allows you to apply for your license online. First time users of this system will be required to set up an account.

Note: your application is incomplete until you have completed a background check and fingerprinting, which is conducted in person at City Hall.
