The Compressed Gases permit applies to the storage, use or handling at normal temperature of compressed gases. This applies to corrosive, flammable, highly toxic, inert and simple asphyxiant, oxidizing (including oxygen), pyrophoric and toxic gases in excess of amounts listed in the 2015 IFC Table 105.6.9.
Before applying for this permit, please have the following materials ready:
The prevention plan drawings (site plan) should include the building floor plan with proposed area of operation including all storage and process areas.
Activity description stating the nature of the business, type of operations/processes, systems in use, number of control areas, quantities per control area, types of storage present and fire protection systems provided.
Complete the hazardous material inventory statement (HMIS) on the Boise Fire HMIS spreadsheet.

You must also submit the: hazardous material management plan, emergency management plan, operation procedures and procedures for emergency shut down.
