Conditional Use Permit
The Conditional Use Permit (CUP) is the procedure in which a use is reviewed for compliance with the comprehensive plan, availability of services, compatibility, and possible adverse impacts upon neighboring properties. The Table of Allowed Uses within the Zoning Ordinance dictates which uses—within each zone—require a conditional use permit. New Conditional Use Permits require a Pre-Application Meeting with the Planning Team and are reviewed by the Planning & Zoning Commission. Modifications of existing conditional uses that meet specific criteria as defined by the Zoning Ordinance may be eligible for administrative review by the Planning Team.
