Together with the community, the City of Boise created a modern zoning code to ensure the future design and development of our city protects the character we love and creates more dynamic, walkable space for everyone. On June 15, 2023, Boise City Council unanimously recommended approval of the modern zoning code.. The new code is effective as of December 1, 2023.
