Energize Our Neighborhoods is a community collaboration to make all Boise neighborhoods unique and desirable. The City of Boise currently has 35 established neighborhood associations, Energize Our Neighborhoods partners with the associations to enrich the lives of our residents, enhance the identity in our neighborhoods and encourage a strong sense of community.

Investing in Our Neighborhoods

Boise’s neighborhoods are the backbone of our community. Each is unique and adds to the vibrancy of our city’s welcoming and vibrant culture. The Neighborhood Investment Program funds projects across neighborhoods to enhance the identity and quality of life in each.

ACT Grants

ACT grants provide funding to neighborhood associations to lead planning projects, offer educational programming for residents, host community events, and support the administration of the association.

Future of Energize

As our city continues to grow and change, it is important to evaluate the Energize Our Neighborhoods program to ensure that it is serving our residents in an equitable and efficient way that truly meets our residents’ needs. The City of Boise team will be working with the community to gain a more comprehensive understanding of how the city can best serve our residents at a neighborhood level.

Change to MODA Franklin

MODA Franklin

Located in the Central Bench neighborhood, MODA Franklin is the first Housing Land Trust development, bringing much needed affordable housing to Boise. The city broke ground on the development in fall 2021, and the apartments are anticipated to be completed in 2023.
