Energize Our Neighborhoods

Energize Our Neighborhoods works with communities to identify opportunities to make neighborhood-level change. Projects, which are prioritized through a neighborhood Visioning process, are implemented by community working groups supported by the Energize team. All of Boise’s neighborhood associations are also eligible to request funding for projects through the Neighborhood Investment Program.

Energize develops partnerships with businesses, non-profits, public agencies, foundations and institutions to strategically align investments in support of livability projects. Energize also acts as a conduit to connect residents with programs, services and other resources offered by organizations in the community.

The Energize team serves as a resource to support neighborhood engagement and strives to build community capacity through workshop series, the Boise Neighborhood Interactive community conference, resources developed through the Neighborhood Toolkit and simplified connections to city programs and services.
