Mobility and Public Spaces

The Mobility and Public Spaces Team envisions a city where everyone experiences mobility choices and public spaces that are engaging, welcoming and that celebrate and connect our community.

Mobility and Public Spaces leads the implementation of the Pathways Master Plan, expands mobility options through multimodal transportation projects and innovative programs, and designs and activates public spaces that enhance the quality of life for all Boiseans.

The Mobility and Public Spaces Team carries out this mission through three primary program areas: the Pathways Program, the Public Spaces Program and the Mobility Options Program.

Mobility and Public Spaces Programs

Mobility Options Program

Focuses on expanding and improving mobility options for Boiseans through project planning, mobility programs, and education and outreach.

Public Spaces Program

Focuses on creating welcoming and inclusive spaces in all areas of the city. By designing and activating public spaces like streets, streetscapes, pathways and plazas, this program is committed to ensuring vibrant and active spaces are accessible to all.
