The City of Boise is working to provide residents with safe and convenient transportation options, making it easier for people to get around without relying on a car. We strive to build a city that enables every resident to comfortably walk, ride a bike or scooter, ride transit, or drive, to their destination.
Working closely with the community and our partners, the Mobility and Public Spaces team leads the city's Mobility Options program, which focuses on expanding and improving mobility options for Boiseans through project planning, community programs, education, and outreach while promoting the development of a safe, connected, equitable and reliable multimodal transportation network. These efforts, combined with coordinated land use planning, ensure Boiseans have options for how they get around town.
