Residential Neighborhood Standards

To ensure Boise will have a variety of great neighborhoods, five residential districts are proposed:

Large Lot Residential

(R-1A)

Two homes next door to each other with large garages, front porch, driveways and grass lawns.

Suburban Residential

(R-1B)

Smaller two story home with walkway to front door and grass front lawn

Traditional Residential

(R-1C)

Standing on street in front of four, two-story townhomes that share walls. Each has balcony and front door with path leading up to it.

Compact Residential

(R-2)

Four story apartment style building with angular roof and flags in front.
