Are you planning a family picnic, wedding or special event in a Boise Park? Boise Parks and Recreation manages a variety of locations with unique settings and amenities. Experience incredible views of the city at the historic Boise Depot, host a gathering at a shelter in one of our many beautiful parks, or plan a unique experience for guests at Zoo Boise. Reservations guarantee you the location, date and time for your scheduled event. We recommend early planning and scheduling due to the high demand for park sites and facilities. Please note, reservations are accepted from April 15 through October 15. During the remainder of the year, sites are available on a first come, first served basis.

Ann Morrison Old Timer's Shelter

There is a shelter at Ann Morrison Park that may be reserved. The facilities at this park can only be reserved starting January 1st each year.

Boise Depot

A local landmark, the Boise Depot is a beautiful historic structure that also boasts the Platt Gardens.

Borah Park Shelter

There is a large shelter at Borah Park that may be reserved.

Camel's Back Park Picnic Site

There is a paved picnic area at Camel's Back Park that may be reserved.

Cassia Park Shelter

There is a picnic shelter at Cassia Park that may be reserved.

Dick Eardley Senior Center

Eagle Rock Park Shelter

There is a picnic shelter at Eagle Rock Park that may be reserved.

Esther Simplot Pavilion, Pier, Friendship Island

The Pavilion, Pier and Friendship Island at Esther Simplot Park may be reserved. The facilities at this park can only be reserved starting January 1st each year.

Idaho IceWorld

Idaho's premier indoor family ice skating and entertainment center. We offer adult and youth hockey leagues, figure skating programs, lessons, and public skate sessions.

Ivywild Park Shelter

There is a picnic shelter at Ivywild Park that may be reserved.

Jim Hall Foothills Learning Center

3188 Sunset Peak Road, Boise

Julia Davis Rose Garden and Pavilions

The Rose Garden, Boise Pavilion, Celebration Pavilion and Agriculture Pavilion at Julia Davis Park may be reserved. The facilities at this park can only be reserved starting January 1st each year.

Kathryn Albertson Eyrie and Rookery

The Eyrie and Rookery in Kathryn Albertson Park may be reserved for formal ceremonies only.

Kristin Armstrong Municipal Park Shelter

Kristin Armstrong Muni Park Shelter & Picnic Sites

There is a covered picnic shelter, as well as 10 other picnic sites that may be reserved.

Marianne Williams Park Gazebo and Shelter

There is a gazebo and shelter at Marianne Williams Park that may be reserved.

Phillippi Park Shelter

There is a picnic shelter at Phillippi Park that may be reserved.

Veterans Park Shelter and Picnic Site

There is a shelter and picnic area at Veterans Memorial Park that may be reserved. The facilities at this park can only be reserved starting January 1st each year.

Winstead Park Shelter

There is a picnic shelter at Winstead Park that may be reserved.
